Greetings

Coppell High School is a public high school in Coppell, TX that serves approximately 2800 learners in grades 9-12.  While in many ways CHS is a traditional public high school, we are actually so much more.  Alan November recently called the State of Texas the "vortex of innovation in education." Our district and our campus are right in the thick of things.  CISD is leading the way in creating innovative learning experiences that engage, empower, and educate all learners.  The goal of this blog is to share the innovative methods I have used in my own classroom and have seen in the classrooms of my fellow innovators/teachers in the Coppell High School English department.   Our goal: transform our "traditional" high school into a leader in 21st century educational practice.  I hope that you find something here that will help you transform your own classroom, campus, and district.
